Any Questions? We Got You.

What’s involved in becoming a Chapter Leader?

First, find out if there is a Chapter in your area by visiting the MAMA Map. If there isn’t a Chapter in your area, fill out the form to Start a Chapter. If we are expanding in your area, we will be in touch with you about upcoming information sessions.

At the one-hour information session (held online), you’ll learn everything you need to know about what the role entails.

MAMA already works closely with a number of values-aligned organizations, and we are happy to consider your request. Please send a detailed email to partnerships@wearemama.org.

For all media inquiries and opportunities, please contact press@wearemama.org

*If you are a reporter working on a story, please provide a deadline for your request.

Currently MAMA only operates in the United States, although we have received requests to start MAMA Chapters from every continent except Antarctica! We are focused on the U.S. as it’s the home of many Big Tech companies. We look forward to expanding globally once we have the capacity.

Thank you for your interest in bringing a MAMA Ambassador to your school. If you’d like to explore a potential visit, we’d love to hear more about your goals and what you have in mind. Send us a few details and we will be in touch.

There are many ways to get involved! The first step would be to join a chapter in your area. You can see where MAMA has chapters in the U.S. here. If you don’t see a chapter in your community, consider applying to be a Chapter Leader so you can help grow our movement in your town.

To stay informed, you can sign up for our newsletter, and follow MAMA on our social media platforms to stay up to date on news, events, and when you can take direct action.

There are many resources on our Learn page. Begin by downloading MAMA’s House Rules, and discussing it with your family, then posting in your home for easy reference. Next, read through the other fact sheets about Why Smartphones Don’t Belong in Schools and AI & Kids: What Parents Need to Know

For further education, check out our Expert Insight Series which provides a deeper look into the reasons to limit screentime and prioritize real-world experiences and interactions. You can also find recommended reading at our Bookshop store.

Finally, to get involved in making change in your schools and your community, join your local MAMA Chapter, or consider starting a new one.

Thank you for your support! To stay up-to-date with current news, events, and policy updates— please subscribe to our bi-weekly newsletter. We also have Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Bluesky where we regularly post. Be sure to give us a follow!
